Lower Ladysden is a working farm on Winchet Hill near Goudhurst with pick-your-own crops from spring to autumn and a farm shop. Asparagus comes first, then strawberries and raspberries grown under cover, and in October the pumpkin patch adds rides and food vans for families.

Highlights

  • Pick your own asparagus from late April to mid June
  • Strawberries on raised table tops and raspberries under polytunnels through summer
  • Runner beans, blackberries, sunflowers and wildflowers in season
  • Pumpkin patch every October, with rides and food vans

Good to know

  • Pumpkin season needs a timed ticket for everyone over 3
  • Strawberry picking at weekends sometimes needs booking, so check the farm's updates
  • Dogs on leads are welcome but not in the polytunnels
  • Picnics are not allowed, but the farm shop sells food and drink
