Visitors can meet Mrs Claus and her Elf at Guildhall Museum in Rochester and create their own Christmas story in a drop-in workshop where they decide what happens. Quill pens are included, subject to capacity. The workshop suits families, including children under five.

Rochester Christmas Market runs over three weekends from 27 November to 13 December 2026 in Rochester Castle Gardens. The market has more than 120 stalls selling locally produced and sustainable gifts, clothing, homeware, artisan goods, and festive food and drink. Live entertainment, a Bavarian Village and a family funfair add to the day out, which suits families, couples and groups.
